FAQ
Pulled from the current General FAQ and tightened into questions you can open. Scott still runs this as a one-person shop.
Is there an order confirmation?
You should get an email titled “Your Minibox Gaming Order has been received!” Check spam. If you paid with PayPal and no email arrived, the PayPal receipt is the confirmation.
When will I get my order?
About one business day of work per box, longer when a video sends a wave of orders. Large orders can pause smaller ones for a couple of days. Email the order number if it has been quiet. Full-time help would push the box price up, so the shop stays small on purpose.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Tax is not collected for other countries, so customs may be due when the package arrives. The customs form is filled in by the shipping automation and cannot be edited by hand. Most art is NTSC, with some PAL and Japanese art. Large new PAL or Japanese requests are not being taken. Outside Canada, email “International Shipping – (Country Name)” and shipping is invoiced, usually through PayPal.
Do you make custom or romhack boxes?
Some already exist. On this concept they are separate products you can filter as Custom, instead of sitting at the bottom of a long dropdown. New one-off art is limited to one or two per order and waits behind boxes that are already designed.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Yes. Email “Order #### – Refund” before opening a credit card dispute or a PayPal case. The 1-year guarantee also replaces any Mini Box for any reason.
I need to change the address, the games, or add more boxes.
Email the order number with “Address Change”, “Correction”, or “Add to Order” in the subject. Extra boxes keep the bulk price if the order has not shipped, and Scott invoices the difference. A missing or wrong box uses “Missing Box” or “Order Mistake”.
